Valence Park Capability Brown landscaped gardens and arboretum. The name Valence is said to refer to the Valons family who were 14th land owners here.

Valence School, Valence House. Site originally owned by the Valens family. After the 2nd World War, the house became a school for boys with disabilities (largely amputees) and then later included girls
