Traps Lane
Malden golf course, founded in 1893 as the Raynes Park Golf Club by a group of keen golfers who were frustrated by disputes between players and walkers on Wimbledon Common. The original course was required for development so the club moved to its present site in 1926 when the course was laid out. the area of the course was originally part of the Coombe Manor Estate which was bought by John Spencer in 1753 and the family kept up a family connection with the club until 1933.the club plays for the Brock Cup each Armistice Sunday in commemoration of a leading player who was a member of Brock, firework fmailuy.
