The East Pyl Brook flows westward towards the Beverley Brook

Lower Morden Lane
The East Pyl Brook runs parallel and north of the road Library closed and in other use
Hatfeild Primary School. Named for local industrialist and landowner

Morden Park
Has become the name for the whole area. LCC wanted to use it for an extension of the St.Helier estate but they were stopped by Herbert Morrison so LCC converted half to playing fields.
Morden Park comprises park and sports fields owned and managed by the London Borough of Merton parks department on land that previously formed the grounds of Morden Park House. in the late 18th the estate was owned by the Polhill Family.
Mound surrounded by trees which has been identified as a possible burial mound although investigations carried out in the 1950s found no conclusive proof.
Cycle speedway track sat alongside the mound11970-1990 for Morden Cycle Speedway Club. This has been demolished
The East Pyl Brook runs east-west through the park Swimming Pool, 1962-7 by George Lovoe & Partners.
Stane Street the Roman road runs diagonally across the parish crosses Morden Park 4' below the surface.
